I’ve recently finished my SMP with Simon at Oakwell Clinic. I’m writing this just to reaffirm what the other reviews have already said. Simon was brilliant from the initial consultation right through the process to the end, very enthusiastic and dedicated to his craft. He cares a lot about making sure the finished result is as natural-looking as possible, and happily answered all of my many questions about the process. My friends and family are amazed at the results, and I am very happy with it too. I was initially a little unsure whether to get SMP, but I’m so glad I did. It has improved my confidence and personal happiness immeasurably. I will be recommending him to my friends, and will be staying in touch for any follow-up sessions that might be needed in the future. ~ Alan W

I must admit I pondered over this for quite a while after all I am a man in his 50s who's been bald for 20+ years I did plenty of research and after careful consideration I got in touch with Simon at Oakwell and I am so glad that I did, just finished my third session ,got to say I thought it would be more painful than it was , it wasn't too bad at all , you will not meet a nicer bloke, very passionate and so professional in what he does Listens to what you want , gives his opinion and great advice , 100% would recommend To say that I'm pleased with the end result would be a massive understatement Superb job , thanks Simon Expect that I'll be getting id'd in shops when buying alcohol again now 😀 ~ Chris W

Our experience at Oakwell Clinic was incredibly positive from start to finish. Simon was exceptional; not only did he display unparalleled skill and attention to detail, but his reassuring manner and clear passion for his work made the entire experience truly outstanding and put my husbands nerves at ease. The results have far exceeded our expectations, leaving him extremely satisfied with the ‘natural looking’ outcome. I've held off writing this review for 8 weeks to allow for it to be completely healed, etc. Firstly, Simon is a top guy, I met for the initial consultation, and as you can imagine, after reading other positive reviews, I was still a little apprehensive. Simon put me at ease straight away, told me the plan ,explained the stages, and set the expectations. 2 weeks between each session, so wasn't rushed, therefore getting the best results as possible. I have seen other SMP clinics doing 1 week between sessions, which can lead to the ink not being given the time to settle, then ultimately going to dark, which is a big No!! I saw a post last year in a local Facebook group discussing SMP I'd never heard of it before and was actually going to look into hair transplants my hair was getting so thin! It took me 8 months to contact Simon as I a little scared! I met Simon explained what SMP was and how it would help me! There was no pressure and all my questions were answered so I decided to go ahead! Simon was amazing, he hadn't treated a woman or done blonde hair before so spoke to alot of people and did a lot of research,even tried the colour on himself before putting it on me! He keeps you calm,has the most interesting life to tell you about which makes the sessions go really fast and seems interested in what I had to say too (I talk alot) I'm so happy with the results my hair looks so much fuller and it's given me the confidence boost that I've been lacking for years! Just finished my SMP treatment with Simon and from the initial consultation to the 6th treatment you know you are in the hands of a skillfull friendly professional. My hair is quite fair with a mixture of grey, brown, blonde and ginger so I was unsure if treatment would be suitable for me, but Simon explained the process and laid it straight from the start that with my type of hair, the treatment would have to be done gradually over several sessions with differing shades to make it blend correctly. The final result is brilliant you wouldn't know its not natural. Extremely pleased with the results. Thanks again Simon ~ Phil

As soon as I had my video consultation, I knew that I wasn’t going to be going anywhere else. Simon completely put my mind at ease and answered all of the questions I had about SMP fully. I’d been thinking about getting it done for years, but was pretty apprehensive about it. As soon as I started talking to Simon, it was obvious that he totally understood how I was feeling and he talked me through the different stages of the process so I knew what to expect every step of the way. He’s a real perfectionist and I was made to feel like the treatment was all focused around me, rather than just getting me in and out of the clinic as fast as possible. The location of the clinic is perfect in that it’s discreet and has on-site parking, so I didn’t have to walk down a busy city centre street having just had my treatment. My only regret is that I didn’t get SMP done sooner. My friends and family think it looks amazing! ~ Matt K

I am very positively surprised with Simon's professional approach and his explanation of every step of the entire process from start to finish. He is an amazing guy and his individual approach to the client is amazing. The final effect exceeded my expectations. If you are considering SMP I think choosing Oakwell SMP Clinic is the best choice. The two-week interval between sessions is just right because everything is done successively without unnecessary rush - there is time for the microneedles to heal and the pigment to be absorbed. If you are wanting SMP done choose oakwell clinic! absolutely brilliant service from Simon right from initial contact all the way to my last session, it was a bit further away for me than some other clinics but trust me it’s worth travelling here for, I’m really happy with how my SMP looks, it looks completely natural, Simon has done a great job, absolute perfectionist at what he does, very knowledgeable and such a great guy to talk to, definitely felt at ease in every session and throughout my treatment, which was 5 sessions long due to having my full head treated. After wearing hair systems for years due to suffering with alopecia since a kid, and considering having this treatment done for a while, I finally took the plunge and it’s one of the best things I’ve done, I finally feel free, much comfier and regained confidence, being able to do sports and activities I was limited to before with the hair, is just brilliant! and I actually look better too. I can’t speak highly enough of Oakwell SMP clinic, I’ve just had SMP on my beard and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Simon is a great artist and most importantly a great guy. I ended up having three sessions and I’ve ended up with exactly what i was hoping to achieve. My beard looks fuller and my patches have totally disappeared. If you’re in Leeds/Bradford or even Timbuktu, I would highly recommend going to the Oakwell SMP clinic, you’ll get a 5/5 service and also the company of a genuinely lovely lad. What an absolute pleasure it has been working with Simon at his Oakwell Clinic. Simon is both a professional and enthusiast in the field of SMP and really puts you at ease throughout the whole process. He very skillfully suggested the correct agreed hairline and tone to match my existing hair and gradually worked to bring everything together to achieve a fantastic natural looking result. Unbelievably happy with the results. I have been suffering with Alopecia over the last year and considered many options. When looking at options Simon was very informative of what to expect from SMP and answered all my questions in detail. Would recommend anyone considering getting SMP to use Simon, and certainly get SMP, it has brought my confidence back in just a matter of weeks compared to alternative options for Alopecia.. and a stronger hairline haha. Just got finished off with the last of two sessions with Simon at the Oakwell Clinic and couldn’t recommend him enough. Massively sorted me out by fitting me in on a tight schedule before I leave the country for a while and gave me a detailed insight into the previous treatments I’d had elsewhere and how he had blended everything together. So pleased I decided to have SMP at Oakwell Clinic with Simon- he put me at my ease from beginning to end and is clearly passionate about his work. For years I procrastanted about getting SMP done. I'm 47 now and i can tell you i wish had done it sooner. The results are fantastic. I started out wanting it to be really subtle and whilst it still is, I garentee you will " go darker" Get it done! Well firstly I would like try to explain how absolutely long this has taken me to finally decide to actually go for a consultation. Never mind to commit to moving forward with the treatment. I think we just think maybe one day but then we see a photo or reflection in a mirror and realize it’s time to take action. My next decision was critical who do I trust enough to do this and be assured I would not come out looking like an idiot . Well I can honestly say I found the best professional in the business and an outstanding perfectionists who takes time and leave plenty of recovery time between session. We agree price and have completed a number of sessions until I was totally happy. It truly has been life changing and confidence building . A number of family member also have gone with Simon and love the results. If you are considering it. do it don’t waist years like I did. move forward don’t wait for the OMG is that me in the video or mirror in a lift lol just do it .
